I'm back, guys (but still not settled)!!! In addition to this launch party , I'm working on some unreleased Project Thompson footage that's been buried for a while. It isn't Season 2, but it's better than nothing! And speaking of Project Thompson: Season 2, that's a bit of a hornet's nest. Things have changed since I wrapped up production and left on hiatus for a couple years, which saw Dennis working on his own projects while I went on worldly pursuits and developed my phot...ography (pun very intended). Depending on several external factors and how the wind blows, I have no definitive answer about whether or not Season 2 will even happen. But if it does, you'll certainly be the first to know! In the meantime, I have some ideas brewing in this noggin of mine, and I'm feeling the itch to do more video stuff. Stay tuned!

Too many people got confused with what my name was because of my "Zhang Yaohan" brand. So I decided to just ditch it and use my name (as spelled wrongly as it is - thanks for nothing, inconsistent 70's Chinese romanization). A bit of trivia - my name, Yawhann Chong, is supposed to be spelled "Yaohan Zhang" using "Hanyu Pinyin" (the now de facto standard of Chinese to English romanization). And since Chinese names are presented with the surname first, that's why I had chosen "Zhang Yaohan" as my previous brand. However, this standard is mostly followed by mainland Chinese, and since I'm Malaysian-Chinese by birth, I decided to just stick with my roots and keep my terribly spelled name. As we say in Canada, "You can't fix stupid."

Due to life changes and wrapping up the filming for Project Thompson S1, my filmmaking has been placed on hold indefinitely until I can get settled wherever my travels take me!
