As a companion piece to our series, we have compiled this handy timeline! How many had you heard of? How many had you been to? How many were new to you? https://citymuseumedmonton.ca//09/list-of-edmontons-gay-b/
As LGBTQ History Month continues, our five part exploration of Edmonton gay bars concludes. One of the challenges with this series was how much is already lost. That was complicated further by conflicting memories. Do you have a fact or story you’d like to share about one of the bars in any of the five parts? Each part has a comment section and we would love to hear your favorite stories about YOUR history of gay bars or Join our group Edmonton Queer History Project and comm...ent there. This fifth part brings us to the present day. Ron and Rob will be back to the City Museum site in November with a two part history of the ISCWR https://citymuseumedmonton.ca//history-of-gay-bars-in-edm/
