AMEs Joseph and Ken have been busy this morning installing the newly arrived Avio Design Group's Covid-19 barrier in the back of the AS350B3 stationed here at Terrace base. It's designed to even further help lower the risk of virus transmission inside the aircraft on top of the health protocols we already practice: temperature checks, wearing masks inside the aircraft, disinfecting/cleaning, and social distancing whenever possible.

TREE WELLS What is a tree well? A tree well is the void or area of loose snow around the trunk of a tree enveloped in deep snow. These voids present a danger to... hikers, snowshoers, skiers, sledders and snowboarders who fall into them. A tree's branches shelter its trunk from snowfall, allowing a void or area of loose snow to form. Low-hanging branches such as on fir trees contribute to the forming of a tree well, as they efficiently shelter the area surrounding the trunk. I recently received a phone call from Prince Rupert inquiring about White River Helicopters and the former Seal Cove base listing still floating around the web. While Yellowhead doesn't have an official base stationed in Prince Rupert, the Terrace base can provide service for the area. We're at 250-638-1414 or [email protected]

Well, it was another #snowmageddon weekend here in the Skeena Valley area, another 71 cm on top of the 50+ we got 2 weeks ago. The yard is now clear enough to fly, but we're hampered a bit by weather, mixed freezing rain/snow right now as the temps hover around freezing and small storms keep rolling through.

No flying today! We can barely see across the Skeena River!
