A big thanks to YKGC’s Grounds & Maintenance head Damien Healy and member Kevin Bot Hewitt for bush mill removal this past weekend on holes 11 and 12.

We would like to remind all snowmobiler's to respect the areas around the City of Yellowknife. At some point this weekend a snowmobiler decided it would be fun to ride over some of the snow-fenced areas at the Yellowknife Golf Course and carve some turns, These eighteen snow-fenced areas are there to keep people, ATV's and snowmobiles off of the artificial grass surfaces of the greens so they are not damaged. Actions like this reflect badly on all the entire snowmobiling community

Do you walk your dog at the golf course over the winter? Awesome! Do you also struggle to find great places to run the dogs? Cool, us too! But hey let’s try to clean up after our pets. A trash can has been setup at the main gate, and we’d love you to use it this winter. Not fair to us golfers come spring time. Please feel free the share and get the word out. Yes you can run the dogs at the course, but pickup after them. Everyone have a great winter and we’ll see you next spring!
