Hello Everyone, We would like so say a big thank you and farewell to our leader Samantha Dick, she will be leaving us for a job opportunity with another Nation. As most of you know Samantha worked with the Yeqox Nilin Justice Society since 2010, and she is very grateful for the opportunities that she received throughout the years. She was 22 years old when she started out as the Youth Justice Worker, there were so many wins over the years but moments that stand out are with ...the clients; watching them receive their first job, watching them walk the stage at graduation and finding their place in the world. 11 years ago she never would have thought that her career path would have lead her to be apart of such amazing projects, one being the Williams Lake Indigenous court. Sam will forever be in the history books for leading Indigenous Court to Williams Lake. Samantha states that the team she is leaving behind are truly the hardest workers she knows, they have the heart and passion to continue to grow the organization. It has definitely been 11 years of multiple moments to be proud of Sam! Sechanalyagh for all of your years of hard work and dedication, and wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
FYI If your kids are going in for a covid test, don’t let them eat, drink or brush their teeth an hour before. If they eat they have to get the qtip up the nose, if they don’t eat they just have to do a gargle test.
