Robert and Pina Katz

As per Robert's words...... Robert would like to share the following with all of you. During the period of his delirium he revealed an awesome face to face encounter with God. He recalls seeing an old man with long flowing white hair, laughing out loud at every discussion as he consoled Robert. He was to be made to understand that death was nothing to be afraid of, that life is an illusion. During in and out of delirium his mind went to a very dark place. He kept talking abo...ut being surrounded with demons that held him down. He was hiding and trying not to be discovered. A very bright light representing the angel Gabriel lifted Robert up to a higher plain away from danger several times. The angel Gabriel brought him to God. He then pleaded with God asking to live a long life and God replied " you have another 12 years". God said "your mission will be to do nothing except continue to inspire others". See more

Update GOD IS GREAT! Thank you everyone for all the prayers, continued support, Robert is now Home! The power of prayer is undeniably healing. The circle of friendships has brought true meaning to our renewed faith. The love, concern and outpour of messages continuously have given me so much strength and I am grateful. Thank you for all the texts, phone calls, visits, but most of all the spiritual guidance from many of you. The recovery may take time however we will continue to stay strong and rely on God's strength who never abandons his children.

Difficult times right now. Robert was admitted to hospital on April 15/2017 with complications from his stage 3 bedsore. Diagnosed with Osteomyelitis which means 6 weeks of IV antibiotics. Currently in ICU as he has developed other issues (delirium, confusion, etc). During the past week I was hospitalized also from burnout and we were both on different floors. I now have been discharged and trying to get better but nonetheless I continue to go to him as often as I can. We ask that prayers are said for us during this trying time. I will try to keep his progress posted whenever I can. God Bless

The most difficult time for both of us is now. Robert was taken into the hospital and diagnosed with Osteomyelitis since April 15 and has been in and out of ICU. Meanwhile as he suffered a small head bleed that very same morning I was admitted in the Emergency for burnout from being by his side 24/7. So here we were Robert on one floor and I in the ER. I have been discharged and going back and forth to care for him and he has a long way to go. Antibiotics treatment for at least 6 more weeks with IV. Will remain in ICU due to his confusion and delirium which is caused by his infection. We just ask for prayers and will post more info on his progress.

Robert has had a very long summer as he had to deal with some serious challenges. He developed a bedsore due to friction over a period of time that went from a stage 1 to Stage III. He was ordered by his doctor complete bed rest for 2 months. Thankfully with the help from the plastic surgeon, caregivers, and other professionals Pina was able to take care of Robert. Once again the support from Pina's family and friends came through and they were able to deal with the situation. Robert is on his way to a complete recovery.
