Yes We Cannon: Bike Lanes 2015

Here's some basic education on how to use the new bike lanes. Please share it with cyclists and car drivers alike. There will be a bit of a learning curve, but it will help if we all educate ourselves.

Definitely important messaging as we move forward with the Cannon Street Lanes!

We had our first report of an injury on the Cannon Street lanes today. A driver turning left at a green light wasn't paying attention as they crossed the bike lane, and took out a cyclist. Ambulance was required to take them to the hospital. His knee is in bad shape and his brand new bike is broken. Stay safe and alert on the roads, and continue to talk to your city staff and communities about how to drive safe and share the road.
