October is annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 1 in 8 Canadian women will receive a breast cancer diagnosis in their lifetime. Learn the signs and get screened. Early detection makes the difference.... Show your support for those who have been touched by breast cancer. #PinkOctober In 2015 my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that had already spread to her lungs and throat. She fought bravely through chemo and radiation but unfortunately the disease had spread too far that chemotherapy only seemed to speed up the process. In March 2016, only 7 months after her diagnosis, at the age of 56 my mom's battle ended. I will forever love and miss her for the rest of my life. If my mother's cancer had been detected in it's earliest stages, she may have stood a fighting chance. This is why I spread awareness for breast cancer every October. #BreastCancerAwareness #FightLikeAGirl #Survivors #PinkRibbon #FightForACure #InMemoryOfMom #CheckYourBreasts

How has the quarantine changed the way you look at your home? Tell me in the comments! For me, not having a private home office space on the main floor has been a challenge. Having to work from the dining room table or a small second floor guest bedroom just isn't the ideal setup for concentration. Having more outdoor space where we could spend more time outside playing, gardening, and having bonfires would be great too! Because we've become hyper aware of the challenge...s of our living space since the shutdown, our criteria for our next home has changed a little bit... Now we know that a raised bungalow (or atleast a home with less stairs than our townhouse), a large yard, and private main floor home office, would be a better fit for us. What about you? Has all this time at home caused you to reevaluate your space too?? Is there one thing that frustrates you most about your current home or something you've decided is a must have in your next home? I'd love to hear your thoughts! Let me know in the comments!
