Day 13 of a 30 day Gratitude Challenge Today is Smell. To smell is one of our five senses that we’ve been gifted with. I am grateful that my body knows how to use plants and essential oils in the most gifted amazing way. We are affected by so many aromas that surround us each day. Some of them are negative toxic smells that I wish I could completely do without and some of them are wonderfully prepared intoxicatingly therapeutic aromas that we simply cannot seem to get e...nough of. Some of my favourite essential oil aromas are .. Northern lights black spruce Valor Bergamot Cassia Aroma seize Okay well let’s just say I could go on and on and on listing my favourites. I also love the aroma of a cedar tree in nature and the aroma of the fresh mountain air. The crisp smell of snow And so many more. Day 11 of a 30 day Gratitude Challenge Today is Noise In the midst of all this covid going on there is something that we do and have missed. Noise. The noise we were able to be part of .. Immersed in.. and empowered by. All like minded people gathering together at Young Living Canadian Conventions, learning about new products and listening to inspiring sessions. Smelling and sampling all the new aromas and products is so much fun. ... Similar to the energy present during a concert.. leaving at the end of the weekend feeling inspired, empowered, excited and all at the same time a little tired. But so worth every minute and every personal connection made. We are looking so forward to connecting with everyone in person again. While we were sitting in the blind this morning, I couldn’t help but appreciate the fresh aromas around me... walking up to our spot in the dark I grasped branches of trees and shrubs on my way up. Leaving my gloves to smell intensely of the barks, needles and saps. It smelled SOOOOO good! I even had to get Eddie to smell and recognize the aroma too. Had me thinking how fortunate we are for all the amazing and inspirational essential oils around us and available to us everyday. Thank you to our father and creator for the gift of nature and essential oils
