News from your YMCA! Following the recent announcements issued by Public Health to postpone reopening fitness centres to November 23rd, we wanted to inform you about our intentions for the coming months. In the days following the government's decision allowing us to reopen our centres, we will be launching a new membership reactivation campaign to determine if enough members are interested in resuming their training at the center and consequently allow us to set a possible da...te to reopen. Enough members need to be interested in returning to the centre, otherwise we will be unable to cover the costs of reopening given our financial situation, which has been significantly affected by this pandemic. Reopening with too few members interested in reactivating their membership would jeopardize not only the future of the Downtown YMCA, but also the entire association. You will be receiving all the details regarding the reactivation campaign by email in the days following the government's decision. Until then, take care of yourself and your loved ones.
