January 1st has always been a day to reflect to the past year for me and here is what is on my mind today! I think that 2020 is a year of the gratitude and appreciation, so here are just a few things that I am grateful for for what happened in 2020: I am grateful for 2020, which was an eye-opener in many ways I am grateful that this year I learned to slow down, to reflect and to breath I am grateful for my family who is here with me and my parents and my sister, who are... unfortunately far away from me I am grateful for my husband and kids, who always give me a burst of energy and lots of motivation in life I am grateful for so much family time we had in 2020 that I never had before, for all the family trips in Ontario that we did in the summer time, for evenings spent together playing games, baking or cooking and watching movies and much more I am grateful for my old and new friends, who are always here for me, no matter how far they are I am grateful for my yoga journey this year, for finally proceeding my dream and getting my certificate I am grateful for my new yoga family and amazing friends that I found this year. Grateful to be a part of this incredible yoga community! I am grateful that this year I learned how to spend time for myself and how to actually enjoy free time! I am grateful for the health of my loved ones and mine and for being able to work on it constantly I am grateful for my adorable students, for their support and love I am grateful that I became a yoga teacher and now can share my knowledge with others and help them find their inner peace and balance for their minds and souls and to gain strength and flexibility for their bodies I am grateful that this year I ran my first half-marathon (virtual one) and even got a medal I am grateful that we all survived 2020 and I am ready to see what 2021 will bring us! I will always be grateful to 2020! Despite all the difficulties and challenges, this year allowed me time to complete my yoga certification, gave me enough freedom to practice it and to become a passionate teacher! Now I can help others to find their balance and inner peace and gain strength and flexibility! This year I met some amazing people in the yoga world that I can call my friends now, incredible mentors and teachers and I gained a new family, which is a yoga famil...y of people with big and open hearts!! This year also allowed me time to complete one exciting project that I have been working on for 2 years on and off and never had time to finish it. Crow Pose was one of the poses that I struggled with. I tried and tried and tried and it just didn’t seem to work. I was definitely missing something. Hi everyone! My name is Fidan and I am a yoga teacher! Yoga has been my passion for a very long time, I’ve been practicing it for almost 10 years and been dreaming of taking this course for a few years now.
