Mudras have existed for 3000 years or so and have been a way of healing the body and mind through different points in our hands. Over the next few weeks I will present different Mudras and how they may help certain ailments or emphasize energy to kick in at different times in the day. Each Finger is associated to a different chakra. The Thumb: is Fire (Manipura) Solar Plexus Chakra The Index: is Air (Anahata) The Heart Chakra Middle Finger: is Ether Vishuddhi The Throat Chakr...a Ring Finger: is Earth Muladhara Root chakra The Pinky: is Water Swadhisthana Sacral Chakra. The Other 2 Chakras are Ajna or 3rd eye, always active during Mudras to be present and in the moment and provides discernement as we practice Mudras. Sahasrara Chakra or Crown Chakra, it puts us in touch with our inner self and receive the effects of our Mudra practice, without trying to understand whats is happening and why. #mudras #yogamudra #chakras #yoga #yogapractice
