I’m going to try and ‘keep calm and merry on’ this holiday season . Both my livelihoods are at stake once again . Co-owning a restaurant and being a yoga teacher is my life! ... Here we go again with lockdowns and the potential to do absolutely minimal in business. The way I’m feeling can only be described as disbelief . I am thankful for my daily yoga & meditation practice . If I didn’t have that to support me I’m not so sure I’d be able to handle all this craziness! Throwback to yoga in the jungles of Costa Rica . I’m feeling very antsy these last few days with no vacations in sight . I was born to travel . ... I would work hard all year to be able to afford myself amazing trips. Two, three, sometimes 4 trips a year! To wherever my heart desired. People would often wonder and ask how I could manage so many vacations!?! I would reply with the same answer every time- I quit smoking and drinking ! Even though I don’t see any travel in my near or distance future. I am thankful for all the wonderful trips that I have taken ! I am excited about new dreams and goals at this moment in life. Working and saving hard to build the yoga studio/school/retreat center of my dreams ! (Follow @theyogadome to watch our progress) One day I will get back to the jungles of Costa Rica!
