Yoga For All 07.11.2020

Good morning! The time has come where we are transitioning from Yoga on the Docks to Yoga in the Marina. I will be holding a 6 week session of 3 different class types starting next week. And since now I do most of my communication about this through email some of the spots have been filled. But there are 2 spots left for the Gentle class on Mondays from 9:15-10:15 and 1 spot left for the Gentle Flow class on Tuesday from 8-9am. It's $125 for the 6 weeks. The class size will be 6 people max and everyone will wear their mask until arriving on their mats. I will also be guiding a virtual class on Zoom Wednesday nights from 6-7pm! Message me and send me your email if you would like to book a spot!

Good morning everyone! For some reason I am having trouble sending my weekly schedule by email as it says it's being blocked by everyone (which I'm fairly certain is a problem on my end!) So while I try to sort it out, here is what it said:... As the air starts to feel a little cooler I start feeling this sense of excitement. Of course I love those warm summer days, but I also love sweaters and getting cozy and having a little more freedom in my schedule. Something I love acknowledging is the season of life that I'm in. With it being 3 weeks until the Marina closes I have accepted the fact that I am in a season of hustle. And it also helps me realize that it won't be forever! And that the next season is just around the corner :) This week's classes have changed slightly! (Monday's class is on Tuesday) Tuesday August 25th 8-9am (Flow) Thursday August 27th 9:15-10:00am (Meditation with Sam) Friday August 28th 9:15-10:15am (Gentle) Send me a message if you would like to join! Good morning! I wanted to pop on here cause it’s been awhile! Yoga on the docks has started off with a bang. What’s different this year is that I have to control how many students join where as in the past people could drop in as they please. So to have a bit more control I will be sending out the schedule weekly by email and you can sign up by responding. So send me your email if you would like to join the mailing list! I’m so grateful there has been so much interest and I will continue to do my best to give you all a safe and relaxing practice! Jaime

Hello everyone! I hope you have all been able to enjoy some of this beautiful sunshine! We put the docks in on Saturday and I'm hoping we'll be able to make our way out there sooner rather than later!... For now, we have two more weeks of virtual classes and then I will be taking a little break for a week or two so I can try to wrap my head around doing take out at the Marina. So if you would like to join for a by donation class: Tuesday May 19th 9:30-10:15 (Gentle Yoga) Thursday May 21st 12-12:45pm (All-levels) Sunday May 24th 11-11:30 (Yoga for Kids) Tuesday May 26th 9:30-10:15am (Gentle Yoga) Thursday May 28th 12-12:45pm (All-levels) Same Zoom Link as usual! https://zoom.us/j/4681746134 Password: 489612 (if it's needed) And if you can't make it live I created a 10 minute grounding sequence that is accessible for all! I think we could use help grounding now more than ever. And for me that has come in the form of movement and breath. But even more so in stopping and asking myself what I need in this moment. So I hope you are able to take some time for yourself this week! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eOoKb-LmPM&t=9s Sending lots of love and grounding vibes, Jaime xo

Hello friends! I hope you are all feeling well and healthy on this Monday evening. I've been spending a lot of time continuing to get to know myself, and I have to say, it's been quite a magical journey. Something I've given my permission to indulge in is almost daily baths where I spend time enjoying a tea or glass of wine and read.... And speaking of, if anyone is looking for a book recommendation I highly recommend that every single woman (or person) reads Untamed by Glennon Doyle (which I got at Brome Lake Books!) She discusses the journey of "untaming" yourself as a woman and of getting to know yourself on a deeper level. She talks about the Knowing. I love this so much because it's all about tuning in, trusting your intuition and listening to those whispers and nudges that we so often ignore. If anyone need a little guidance tuning in feel free to join me for some live by donation classes this week. The schedule and the Zoom link remain the same! TUESDAYS 9:30-10:15am (Gentle Flow) THURSDAYS 12-12:45pm (All-Levels) SUNDAYS 11-11:30am (Yoga For Kids) https://zoom.us/j/4681746134 Password: 489612 (if it's needed) And if you can't make it for a live class here is my most recent YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mzy5M0ZBOhA&t=2s Sending so much love to you all! Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well this sunny Monday. Do you have some days that are what I would call 'stickier' than others? Like you can't quite put your finger on it but something just doesn't feel quite right? When I notice myself having those moments I try to stop and check in with myself to see what's going on. And more often than not something very simple can help.... One sun salutation. A ten minute walk rain or shine. A bath with a tea or glass of wine (this one always works). Writing down 3 things I'm grateful for in that moment. Messaging a friend to see how they're doing. A huge giant breath in through the nose and out of the mouth. The more I realize the power small shifts, baby steps, one foot in front of the other can make, the more powerful I feel. With that said if, if you are looking to get on the mat with me this week here is the schedule! Tuesday 9:30-10:15am (gentle yoga) Thursday 12-12:45pm (yoga flow) Sunday 11-11:30am (yoga for kids) Always the same Zoom link! https://zoom.us/j/4681746134 Password: 489612 (if it's needed) These classes are through a studio I teach at in Montreal (the beautiful Yoga Vieux Montreal) and they are donation based. Anywhere between $5 and $15 is suggested. But I please ask that you take the class even if you can't afford to make a donation right now! Instead we encourage you to pay it forward with an act of kindness. If only that could be the currency for everything! See you on the mat! Jaime xo
