One of the most important things you can do for your health and well-being is to start thinking in terms of energy and to find ways of positively nourishing your biofield, which is the electromagnetic energy emitted by your cells and that surrounds your body. The new quantum field health model stipulates that this field is in communication with the environment and informs physical processes in your body/mind and is vital to your health and well-being. Eating healthy & organic... alive foods, exercising (preferably outdoors), practicing effective breathing techniques such as pranayama, proper relaxation, a positive attitude, chanting mantras, meditation and spending time outdoors are some of the very effective activities you can do to nourish your biofield. Here’s a wonderful video from Valerie Hunt that will give you a nice visual representation of what I’m talking about. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_AUqSRVbhC0 See more
Daily chant practice - Krishna Mantras. Sanskrit mantras can be seen as energetic sound formulas which produce a positive influence on the mind. They are designed to be chanted in a repetitive fashion and with a particular rhythm. Sitting in silence for a few moments afterwards helps integrate the energies and habituate the mind to be quiet and connect to its source in Pure Awareness. Chanting Sanskrit mantras positively nourishes the human biofield with spiritual energy. Please chant along or simply listen with full presence to receive the blessings that are available. Om Shanti (May peace be with you)
Here's a very good short article concerning the challenges we currently face with the Corona Virus issue as seen from the perspectives of Yoga & Ayurveda: https://www.vedanet.com/corona-virus-immunity-and-ojas/
Practice of Ahimsa (non-injury in thought, word & deed) develops love. Ahimsa is universal love. It is pure love. It is divine Prem (love). Where there is love, there is Ahimsa. Where there is Ahimsa, there is love and selfless service. They all go together. - Swami Sivananda (excerpt from Bliss Divine)
