Dear YL students, I hope you and your families are well. As you may know, the Yoga Loft proactively closed on March 15th. The decision to do so was based on our concern for you, our teachers, and the community we serve. Unfortunately, it seems the undeniable reality is that Covid-19 will be with us for some time. And I anticipate, therefore, that upon reopening and for the foreseeable future, studios and fitness centers will be required to operate with capacity restriction...s and to remain physically distant. I have concluded, therefore, that there is not a profitable path forward for the Yoga Loft in our current space. And so, sadly, I am writing to tell you that I will not be reopening the studio. Many of you have been students of ours for very many years and I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your support throughout that time. It has been a privilege and pleasure to serve you. I will continue to teach online Google Meet classes, as well as private and group classes at students’ homes. I am also working on videos and a new site that will offer classes online. Students with remaining credit on their YL memberships will be able to apply those amounts online. I will keep you posted. Hopefully, I will get to see you all again, practicing on your mats. Speaking of mats, if you left your mat at the studio please email me your address, and I will deliver it to you. I wish you good health and much happiness and I thank you one last time.
