Letting Be. Letting Go. Is the antidote to dance of suffering. Pain is inevitable. Suffering is in our hands. What are your thoughts ?

Essentially, self-abandonment is when you reject, suppress or ignore part of yourself in real-time. In other words, you have a need or desire you want to meet, and (often on the spot) you make the decision not to meet it. We abandon ourselves when we don’t value ourselves, when we don’t act in our own best interest, and when we don’t encourage and comfort ourselves. How to STOP: allow yourself to have feelings and needs ... allow yourself to be quirky and unique treat yourself with compassion stand up for yourself Seek support if required. This is a skill that can get learned.

Needs ! We have them all, how we meet them becomes the problem often. Some do not recognize them Some ignore them Some deny them ... Some avoid them Some expect others to meet them for them All of these need related matters lead many to develop codependency, anxiety, anger, resentment and neediness ... Learning to meet our own needs is paramount to our survival. As we become adults, it is essential that we learn how to recognize and meet our needs. This can be learned in therapy. Meeting our own needs is akin to freedom
