Yonge & 7 Dental Care is pleased to announce that Dr. Sari Kichler has joined our team! Dr. Kichler graduated with honours from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 2014. She received her Bachelors of Science from Dalhousie University and Masters of Science from the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Kichler enjoys all aspects of dentistry and works with her patients to meet their needs and improve their dental health. She provides exceptional care to patients of... all ages in a comfortable and friendly environment. She likes nothing more than seeing her patients come and leave the office with a big smile. Dr. Kichler is a certified Invisalign provider, an active member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Ontario Dental Association and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. When she’s not working, Dr. Kichler enjoys spending time with her friends and family, travelling, staying active and playing with her puppy.

We are happy to let you know that we are re-opening this week. We are excited to see everyone and will be contacting you in the next few days. Pina will be available to take your phone calls and book and reschedule your appointments beginning tomorrow, June 2. Here are a few changes to our office protocol when you return.... 1. Please reschedule your appointment if you are not feeling well or have a fever, cough, difficulty breathing, or if anyone in your household has been sick in the past two weeks 2. Please wear a mask and use our hand sanitizer when you enter and leave our office. 3. We will measure your temperature with our touchless thermometer. If your temperature is 37.9 degrees or higher, we will ask you to reschedule. 4. You will be required to fill out some screening questions relating to COVID-19 5. We are limiting the number of people allowed into our waiting room to ensure social distancing. Please arrive no more than five minutes before your scheduled appointment to minimize the amount of time in our waiting room. 6. Individuals accompanying a patient are required to wait outside the office unless absolutely necessary (e.g., a parent accompanying a young child or a patient who requires accommodation). 7. We have removed all reading material and magazines from our waiting room 8. Our staff will be constantly disinfecting all common areas including door handles, chairs, bathrooms, light switches, counters, etc. 9. We will be installing touchless faucets and soap dispensers in the bathroom. 10. We have installed the plexiglass sneeze and cough guards at our front desk. 11. To our patients from Yonge & 7 Dental Care, I hope that all of you are doing well and staying healthy. Our dental college is now allowing us to treat urgent care and emergencies. This includes any type of pain or discomfort, chipped or broken fillings or teeth, work that was started and not completed, cavities that were diagnosed and not treated, replacing temporary fillings or any other situations that may progress and worsen if left alone.... We are not yet allowed to see you for your routine hygiene appointments, but I am hopeful it will be allowed in the very near future If you have ANY concerns, please phone me at 905-882-7753 and leave a message. All scheduled appointments until April 6, 2020, inclusive are canceled. We will definitely keep you notified as to when our office will return to our normal schedule. We will be working very hard to reschedule appointments onc...e we know when we can. We will be checking our messages on a daily basis and will be returning your calls. To our patients from Yonge & 7 Dental Care, As a result of the growing health concerns related to Covid 19, my regulatory body, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, has recommended that dentists in Ontario stop all non-essential treatments effective immediately. All scheduled appointments from March 17, 2020 to April 3, 2020 are canceled. We will definitely keep you notified as to when our office will return to our normal schedule. This decision was difficult to m...ake but it is in line with so many other changes that have taken place very rapidly over the past few days. We expect to open as soon as the Royal College of Dental Surgeons informs us that it is advisable to do so, (They will be reviewing their recommendation at the beginning of April). We will be working very hard to reschedule appointments once we know when we can. We will be available for emergency care to help those in pain from Monday to Thursday for the next two weeks between the hours of 10am and 1 pm While the risk of infection of Covid-19 for the average person is minimal, given the strict routine infection protocols at our office, we feel a responsibility to ensure that we protect those at risk through social distancing and keeping the transmission risks as low as possible. We are following the guidelines in place from our Public Health authorities as well as our Professional Colleges. I look forward to continuing your dental care in the near future. New Mom Alert! Congratulations to Sandy from our hygiene team who recently became a first-time mom! Her son Michael was born at a whopping 9 lbs 12 oz. Mother and son are doing well!
