The YRCC enjoyed another fun Monday night singing and connecting with our choir friends. Choir helps us to forget for an hour that we’re in a pandemic. As usual, choir is a wonderful escape.
We sang Little Tree! And, we’ll sing more holiday-themed music. Plan to join us next Monday. If you have trouble finding us, send me a message or an email.
Do take advantage of our weekly YRCC Zoom meetings. Keep singing with us!

I posted on my blog finally. Busy week! Lots of reasons to join our Zoom meetings. Join us to connect with your choir community and to keep your voice fit! Sing YRCC favourites. Keep up your music reading skills. Sheet music is attached to the calendar.
New Post: We are Zoomers now. Look out for an email with the link for next week’s Zoom Choir Night. Also, see YRCC Calendar for music and the link.
Happy Thanksgiving! I’m thankful for Zoom! See you tomorrow!
I posted on my blog, renatesbaton.blogspot.com, again after a long pause. We have a Zoom meeting planned for Monday, and hopefully we’ll start meeting every Monday again.
Our Zoom get together was so much fun! Wonderful to see you all! We’re doing it again next Monday. Look for your invitation email.
Did you get your Zoom meeting invitation for next Monday? Prepare to sing You Raise Me Up and Somewhere Out There. Music available on the website and in the calendar invite. I’ll try to practice my zoom hosting
Well, we tested a Zoom meeting and it was fun and we’ll do it again! It was pretty awful at times but I think we can find ways to make it fun and useful. Participants will share some ideas and I’ll make a plan for next week with everyone invited. At least we have a chance to see each other and share some of our songs and stay on top of our parts. Better than nothing
Quick update: we still don’t have a go-ahead to meet in either of our spaces, and now things seem to be tightening up again. Looks like our holding pattern is indefinite. Not losing hope though. Keep positive. Keep posted.
Enjoy! You’re all stars
Sad news. Our choir has lost another much-loved member. Donna’s smiles and butter tarts will live forever in our memories.
We might be able to make a video like this. Let’s rehearse tup-tuppa
FALL 2020 SEASON in planning! I am looking at the music to plan our fall season. Members have received an email asking for feedback on proposed plan to return. The Winter Concert is cancelled, but we want to sing! Let's see if we can sing on Mondays just for ourselves. What do you think? Would you come in September if we're allowed to? For now, we would not be taking any new members, nor would we be asking for fees. You will not lose your membership status even if you're not coming back this fall.
Many of you remember Michael. What fun!
Choir means many things
Some of us just can’t contain ourselves when the music moves us I love this guy!
The choir executive met just now in a Zoom meeting. It felt so good to see some choir friends!!! (some of us had the traditional choir executive meeting glass of wine ) We did some thinking and wishing and planning and I feel hopeful Lauren will gather up our ideas and make some inquiries and she will send us all a message with our plan as soon as she is able. We will rise again
