I like watching movies and stand-up, listening to albums, going to the gym with my friends, watching the NBA and being upset when the team I root for loses. And I am still extremely upset that the Toronto Raptors got beat by Boston of all teams. I joined the YTSA Exec team because I am proud of the way the club familiarizes itself with its members and creates a family atmosphere within the club. When I first joined the club, I wanted to learn more about my own culture, as well as experience and learn more about other peoples' cultures. I was only expecting to go to a few meetings just to meet people, but before I knew it, I had become apart of this small family during the Weekly Meetups and Language Exchanges. I'm a very social person, so the more events I went to, the more people I met and became friends with. Naturally I became more and more immersed within the YTSA club and the Taiwanese community itself. Hopefully I can help plan some good events like they did for me when I first joined. At the request of the Emperor of Heaven, the great archer Hou Yi shot down nine of the suns, saving life on Earth. As a reward for this feat, Hou Yi was given the elixir of immortality, which he hid in h...is home, planning to share it with his beautiful wife, Chang’e. But while Hou Yi was away hunting, his wicked apprentice, Feng Meng, came to his home to steal the elixir. Chang’e, determined to keep it out of Feng’s hands, drank the potion and ascended to the heavens, where she took the moon as her home.
