Transland is a legacy aviation company designing and manufacturing quality products since 1945. Did you know Transland was instrumental in building the Ag-2 model aircraft, which was designed specifically for the dispersal of dry and liquid applications? They are on a growth path, purchasing CP Products in 2013, the Davidon product line in 2016 and Satloc in 2017. We are very proud to be connected to this company, and thank them for their service and support! Check out their website! https://www.translandllc.com/

The offices of Leading Edge Aviation and Yorkton Aircraft Service sit nestled in a large green hangar located at the Yorkton Regional Airport. This large green hangar symbolizes freedom and recognizes those who fought for it. Our building is an original British Commonwealth Air Training Plan hangar from WWII. Flight School No. 11. The painting featured in the photos is a tribute to Yorkton’s BCATP Flight School No.11. It shows Wynyard area local, Barry Needham, from the v...ery first graduating class in June 1941 receiving his wings. By the end of the war in 1945, an estimated 2000 pilots had earned their wings at the Yorkton School. COVID-19 has definitely made fundraising hard for every organization, yet the Yorkton Legion Branch 77 made the most of it and arranged for a contactless Poppy Drive on November 1. Legion members delivered poppies and poppy center pins to those who pre-ordered. Yorkton Aircraft Service and Leading Edge are proud to support RCL Branch 77 and donated towards the cost of gas for this drive. Accepting the donations from Don Ingham (Leading Edge) and Kaci Denesowych (Yorkton Aircraft) on behalf of RCL Branch 77 is Executive Member Comrade Brittany Johnson. Never Forget. Always Remember.

As a Thrush Aircraft dealer, we truly believe in this aircraft. But we wanted you to hear about this beautiful bird from Thrush owner's and pilots. We asked 20 Thrush owner's and pilots what they like about the Thrush - through out the next few weeks, we will be sharing these with you (in no particular order). #13 - Flaps. Thanks to the bigger wing, the Thrush enjoys more square inches of lift. It is a Thrush Pilots choice if he wants to use flaps or not, but it's not necessary.
