Becoming a member of @dolphingaming_ has been an incredible opportunity for us at Yorktown Family Services. Since April of 2019, the funds raised through their Bingo program (over $70K) has helped Yorktown with the costs associated for rent at the @westtorontoyouthhub for programs like Choices, @rainbow.west.to, and Connect4, as well as has helped with the costs associated with our social media and marketing efforts! We are so grateful to Dolphin Bingo, the Ontario Charitable Gaming Association, and The City of Toronto, for making this fundraising opportunity possible. THANK YOU! #dolphingaming #dolphinbingo

Please help Yorktown to raise $100,000 so that we can continue to provide the mental health and critical supports to those in desperate need. Over the past several months, we have all faced extraordinary change and challenge due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As we continue to face unprecedented uncertainties, Yorktown has made the difficult decision to cancel our annual Tribute Dinner - our biggest fundraising initiative. We are pleased and grateful that Ted Manziaris has gracio...usly deferred the acceptance of his Yorktown Family Services Humanitarian Award for Community Service, to May of 2021. For over 25 years, Yorktown Family Services has provided individual and group counselling to children, youth, and families, and Violence Against Women programs to women and children facing domestic violence. In response to the pandemic, we acted quickly and responsively and are offering all of our programs and services by phone and a variety of online platforms. While the Tribute Dinner is our charitys largest and most important fundraising event, the need to cancel it for the first time in 21 years comes at a time when the demand for our services is on track to double! We thank you for your loyal support of past Tribute Dinners and are reaching out to you now, as we have never needed your help more. The pandemic has brought with it a drastic increase in mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma and violence. Now more than ever, the individuals we serve are in dire need of support and we have less resources to meet those needs. I am reaching out to you today, to ask for your help to raise $100,000 so that we can continue to provide the mental health and critical supports to those in desperate need. https://www.yorktownfamilyservices.com/donate/ @katherinealexanderdaniels @pasha_bachir @jacobyerex @suzettearrudasantos
