Yesterday we launched our Dean's Special Advisory Board, comprised of 12 exceptional industry and community leaders who will help accelerate our Faculty's success. The Board, chaired by Reza Moridi, former Ontario minister of research, innovation and science, and minister of training, colleges and universities, will be integral to our creation of our new 2021-2026 strategic plan. It will help us build the crucial connections with industry that our students need to succeed beyond York's walls. Please join us in welcoming them!

Happy anniversary to our 1M telescope! It’s been one year since the 1M was installed at the Allan I. Carswell Observatory here at YorkU. We are proud to be home to the largest telescope on any Canadian university campus, and are excited to see what the 1M has in store for us in the future.
