The Discover You Program is one that is aimed at fostering leadership, communication, professional development and interview skills in grade 11 and 12 students as they continue paving their academic and practical pathways. A team of undergraduate Peer Coaches will assist students throughout this journey by delivering a series of four online afterschool workshops from February to April. Full participation in every workshop will grant students a certificate of achievement and l...etter of recognition signed by the Head of Stong College (York University), Dr. Mazen Hamadeh. Students will also gain access to exclusive videos featuring interviews with York University alumni. The Black Creek Community Farm Park team is looking for Jane-Finch residents to become a part of our Food Forest Stewardship Team! Participants will learn about forestry, stewardship, and growing their own trees over the course of five online workshops, and then get the chance to practice their skills outdoors.
