I Can Do It

I had my hip replaced a couple of years ago and because it was so badly worn out I had been on crutches for months before the surgery. Consequently I had almost no muscle strength in that hip. I could not move that new hip. I had to learn to lift my leg into bed, walk and balance all over again. It took months before I could walk across the room unaided by even a cane. Sometimes we take for granted the simple things, like getting up from a chair and walking across a room. But I will never take the freedom of having both hands free of walking aids again. I'm grateful for my mobility.

Life sure changes as we grow. I've been home from Australia for a year now. I've gotten used to green trees rather than beautiful flowering trees. I've survived another snowy winter. I've had a hip replacement and am recovering nicely. When I got home I started taking Protandim from LifeVantage. It made a huge difference in the level of pain I was in from my worn out hip. Still taking it because it is good for me, even though I now have no pain. Hear that--No Pain! First time in over five years, maybe six. Thought I just had arthritis, but what I needed was a whole hip replacement. No pain now even with arthritis. Yay for Protandim!

For the winter I've been in Australia visiting my son. This winter I've had no snow to shovel and a warm pool in his backyard to swim in. What a contrast! No snow on the ground and green trees everywhere. Life is good!
