When faced with a problem, who's the first person usually to blame? Is it a team member? No... the first person to cause problems is YOU! This is not likely something you like to hear, but it's true. Admitting truths yields self-honesty, which means we can take accountability for our own actions and words.
Babe Ruth, a man known historically as a slugger in baseball, held the home run record up until a few years ago... but he also struck out... a LOT. What he realized is that there's a relationship between swinging the bat and hitting the ball. You just have to keep swinging the bat. Don't stop. Don't get discouraged. Yes, you'll strike out. Yes, you'll have a lot of misses. But keep swinging the bat.

Strong, effective leaders have a clear understanding of their own leadership strengths and weaknesses. During a leadership training session, you'll uncover your unique personality trait and gain insight into how your own strengths and weaknesses are impacted by your personality.
There are many ways to show encouragement to your team members, and understanding their personality style will determine how best to encourage them. For example, someone with a ‘S’ or Steady personality style needs assurance. They need to know that even if things get worse, you'll still be together through it. Assure them as often as you can, and don't let them feel alone. remind them often how much you value and rely on their strength.
