The Tea How I learned to forgive the person who caused me so much pain... the father of my children Before I begin I must state: Forgiveness grants us access to the power of Christ ... There was so much too forgive and I didn’t allow myself to begin the process until my soul began to suffer. I was holding onto pain that was cutting me like a knife! One day after prayer and revelation while getting ready to attend a Joyce Meyer Conference in Toronto, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said Forgive! This was several years ago and I had no knowledge of what context it was meant. I decided to start with baby steps and chose to not focus on the painful memories but the joyous ones instead. Within moments I went to my car and found $380 scattered in bills around my car. No one but me and God. Wow I hopped in my car overwhelmed with gratitude and amazement and parked it to go downtown. On the way to the conference I found an iPhone. True story! I decide to return it when the person calls (I know they will call because I’ve lost several iPhones ) They call while I’m singing at the concert and we arrange for them to pick it up when I get home. Already on cloud 9 I get home, return the phone and they gift me $200 for being a Good Samaritan Fast forward a bit I continue on with the process of Baby Step Forgiveness and together we come up with the title for my first published book, The Untold Story of a Drug Dealer’s Babymother ... And I begin my journey...
