This brand new home is a little light on the attic insulation. The client reached out to me who was having trouble keeping the second story of their home at a comfortable temperature. Modern standards call for a minimum of about 12 of insulation in the attic, but only 7 had been installed. The builder came back and did an insulation top up, problem solved! Dryer vents need to be monitored and cleaned periodically, this termination was so clogged with lint that the flapper would no longer open.
