Behind every successful person is generally a person or people who have coached, and guided them to success. Today's it's called a Mentor, when I was growing up it was a Coach. Either way, if you want to speed up your path to success, you must have a mentor or coach. Today, I discuss some of the lessons I learned from my Mentors.

Unfortunately, dirty places with garbage left behind sort of come with the territory of real estate flipping. It doesn't always happen, but when it does, do not let that stop you from a big score because you have a minor hurdle to overcome.

Buying your kids a car, or providing an education is neat and fun, but what happens when you're gone? What are you leaving behind? What is your legacy? My choice is to leave behind a huge company with millions of dollars of real estate holdings. That wasn't always part of my goal, but now that my goal is crystallizing, I realize that what I leave behind will far out way what I can do here on earth with what little time I have. The question is, what is your legacy?

The lessons from my past have all built upon each other to teach me lessons that have allowed me to flourish in real estate. This lesson comes from a time when I was working in a milk factory.
