It's an interesting program for First Time Home Buyers. I'm not sure about giving the government equity in a home with the marketing moving up as fast as it is. "When it was first introduced in 2019, the maximum home price to be eligible was 4 times household income, but is going up to 4.5 times household income in spring 2021. The buyer’s income threshold is being raised from $120,000 to $150,000. The changes mean the maximum home price for eligible first-time buyers in the three markets goes from $505,000 to about $722,000."

With every purchase or sale we are committed to donating through Giveback Homes to help make a small change. Thank you for choosing me as your agent Jian & Gelavizh ; your beautiful new home purchase has helped families who have suffered from natural disasters this year: Mike and his wife Christy grew up in Paradise, California, and were married in May of 2017. Having recently married, they both sold their homes and purchased a new and final home together, closing es...crow just prior to Christmas 2017. They had lived in it just shy of 11 months before the Camp fire burned it to the ground. With over 50,000 people displaced, Mike decided the best option was to get a 5th Wheel Trailer and live in an RV park until he could rebuild. Mike had actually owned an RV Trailer for recreation, and had it stored on the other side of town in the event anything happened to their home, but unfortunately, it burned up too. They managed to evacuate their two dogs and one cat, but had to place them in a shelter until they can find a home to stay in. Kelly returned home 11 days after The Woosley fire, when the evacuation restrictions were lifted, to find her eaves and pilasters burned forcing her home to collapse, and bursting the water main. Their insurance will not cover the damage as they declare it was not fire, but water, that was the problem, which their policy does not cover. FEMA will not provide support because they say she has insurance, and now the county of L.A. has declared her property a total loss and has red tagged it. They are currently stuck in between agencies and red tape, but they are holding on to hope. The family of five, Kelly, her husband, daughter and two dogs, currently share a one-bedroom apartment in Los Angeles. See more

Thinking of selling in the near future? Our marketing is so good it's spooky.

Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy (CERS) replaces the Canada Emergency Commercial Rent Assistance (CECRA) program Federal government replaces rent support program for businesses Effective November 23, small businesses can start applying for the new CERS program offering rent and mortgage interest subsidies to eligible commercial renters and property owners.... Unlike the CECRA program its replacing, CERS allows small businesses, charities and not-for-profits that have suffered a revenue drop due to the pandemic to apply directly for help rather than rely on their landlords to apply on their behalf. According to the federal government, the program - in place until June 2021 - will subsidize up to a maximum of 65 per cent of rent, commercial mortgage interest, and other expenses on a sliding scale based on revenue declines, with a possible additional 25 per cent lockdown support for businesses affected by a public health order. There is no minimum revenue drop required to qualify for the subsidy, however this new program is only retroactive to September 27, 2020. It doesn't help companies that would have qualified for CECRA if their landlords had chosen to apply. It also has a current requirement that businesses pay their rents before applying, which the federal government has indicated it will change with new legislation. - FVREB Communications
