Today at 6:30pm at Genesis Place on the indoor track upstairs we will be walking and Running the Secret Marathon 3km - 15 rounds of enjoying an awesome facility... in good company while supporting empowering women and girls in Afghanistan through sport. I think of the Junior Development athletes I help coach, and the Airdrie Aces Athletic Club and how different it would be with no female athletes, and no female coaches. Join the Walk/Run Club! Kids under 14 can come for free with a parent, and if you are a Big Brother/Big Sister, your little can come for free too! All kid forms of locomotion are welcome, so bikes, strollers, wagons, inline skates - bring out the kiddos and let them see what an awesome parent you are for fitting in activity into life :).
