The Ontario Government has updated #COVID19 testing guidelines for long-term care homes starting next week. LTCHs in regions in Orange-Restrict, Red-Control, and Lockdown levels will now require that staff, essential caregivers, and support workers who provide direct care need to be tested weekly and show proof of a negative result. Support workers who do not provide direct care must verbally attest to having received a negative test in the past two weeks. For LTCHs in reg...ions at the Green-Prevent and Yellow-Protect levels, testing will continue every two weeks for staff, volunteers, caregivers and visitors.
