For marginalized kids who face struggles at home and school, summer camp is an ESSENTIAL service. That was certainly the case for me. When I was 17 years old C...AMP KINKORA changed the course of my life forever. It’s the place where I discovered and was encouraged to explore my musical side. It’s the place where I met so many other talented musically inclined friends who are still part of my life today. And most importantly camp is where I learned about community, leadership and service. For VIRTUAL PUB # 9 we’ll be raising money for the DIOCESAN CAMPING ASSOCIATION which consists of four different groups that bring children AND families to CAMP KINKORA. And I’m very excited and grateful that Nick Pichereau and the very generous folks from McKibbin’s Pub Vaudreuil are on board as the sponsor for the return of the Virtual Pub. When this whole pandemic blows over (and it will!) you have to get yourself to McKibs Vaudreuil for an evening of incredible food, some adult beverages and some live music. Nick and McKibbins are huge supporters of live music and I’ve spent many great nights playing there; whether it’s alone, with Pete Dawg, Linda Benoy, Fred Gallo or 3.5 MEN (NOT all at the same time although that WOULD be fun!)
