Hullabaloo

We are hosting our Adventures in Poetryland workshops this weekend with our Hullabaloo facilitators, Janice Jo Lee, Patrick de Belen and Johnny D. Trinh. May 16th from Noon-3pm Pacific Time. If you're a high school aged youth poet interested in taking part please PM me for details.

Tomorrow was scheduled to kick off Hullabaloo 2020. We had Chris Tse booked as our Spoken Word Jamboree feature. Alas that event isn't happening. However Chris will join RC Weslowski on Co Op Radio today from 2-2:30 at 100.5 FM for Wax Poetic to share some poems and talk about workshopping. www.coopradio.org

Today would have been 1 month until Hullabaloo 2020. Unfortunately due to the current COVID 19 pandemic crisis we have to cancel the festival due to health and safety concerns for everyone. The situation remains in flux and there is no telling how severe things will be in 1 month from now and so the Hullabaloo and Verses Festival organizing committee decided we had to cancel the festival for this year. We acknowledge the hard work teams have been doing in preparation for the... get together and we're sorry it's come to this. Hopefully 2021 will be a healthier and happier year. Wait List Registration opened today for Hullabaloo 2020. We currently have 16 teams registered for this year's festival. We have 1 team on the wait list in case a team has to drop out. If you would like to be on the wait list please email RC Weslowski at [email protected] to do so. Thanks!
