Caught in the act! Spotted one of our trucks plowing on 97N near salmon valley as we are seeing a bit of flurries come through the area this afternoon. This truck has its lights on and blades down which indicates that you should give it some space as the operator is performing key winter maintenance activities! #ShiftIntoWinter

We’ve experienced some challenging conditions on #bchwy97 & #bchwy39 over the last couple of days. However, it did provide us the opportunity to try our new Ice Breaker to cut down on the compact! Good evening folks. Please be aware that we can expect to see some snow in the forecast tonight. It is looking like a small system will move into the Prince George area late this evening and drop potentially 4-8cm. We are expecting to see 10-20cm tomorrow in the Mackenzie area so if you are planning to travel North tomorrow be aware of changing conditions. Here comes the snow! We are expecting to see around 10cm of accumulations over the next 36 hours. During times of heavier snowfall watch for visibility issues as there will be a strong wind persist for most of the day as well as slippery sections due to the blowing snow. Give yourself some extra time to get where you're going and please give our equipment the time and space it needs to keep the roads safe. #drivetotheconditions
