#BCHwy5 is closed south of Merritt due to an MVI, please take alternate route. After receiving some freezing rain last night into this morning there are slippery sections throughout the area on the highways. Please slow down and drive with care when travelling this morning.

Please watch for pooling water and slushy sections on all routes, especially on Hwy #5 between Merritt and the Walloper Overpass heading to Kamloops. Slow down and drive to conditions.

YRB crews are out doing cleanup this morning after last nights snowfall. We are out on Hwy #8 and side roads as well as Coldwater Rd. and side roads. A truck will be on Iron Mountain Rd. within the hour and then heading over to Kane Valley Rd. We are working hard to get to all roads in priority sequence. Thank you for your patience.
