Kluane Mountain Bluegrass Festival 25.01.2021

We would rather be jamming into the early hours of the evening with you, but know that the safety of our Community is the most important thing. Although we weren't able to bring bluegrass to the Yukon this summer, we didn't want the weekend to pass without another big thank you to our sponsors, our funders, our volunteers, and our audience. We are also incredibly grateful to our artists, in particular those who've agreed to join us next year. Keep well, bluegrass fans. We... can't wait until we can all gather together to enjoy the music we love. Kluane Mountain Bluegrass Festival 10.01.2021

CANCELLED - 2020 Kluane Mountain Bluegrass Festival (KMBF) We are in the midst of challenging and uncertain times. The board of the Yukon Bluegrass Music Society has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation, both nationally and internationally. At a meeting on March 25, the board made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 festival, previously scheduled for June 12-14, in Haines Junction. In addition, we will be providing a full refund to all ticket holders.... We realize there will be many questions arising from this decision. We are developing a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page for our website and hope to have it live very shortly. We will also be reaching out, by phone and email, to our supporters, sponsors, artists and contractors to discuss plans and options moving forward. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) The following document will hopefully provide answers and clarity to many of the questions arising from the cancellation of the 2020 Kluane Mountain Bluegrass Festival. I am a ticket holder; can I get a full refund and how long will it take to receive it? Yes, all ticket holders will be provided a full refund. If you purchased your ticket online you will receive a refund direct to the credit card you used to purchase the ticket(s). If you purchased a hard-copy ticket from Well Read Books in Whitehorse or The Little Green Apple in Haines Junction we will be contacting you by phone or email to arrange for the refund. In terms of when the refund will be issued... please be patient, but we do hope to take care of all refunds within the next 2 to 3 weeks. I purchased a raffle ticket(s) in support of the 2020 festival; will I get a refund? Yes, you will be contacted about a refund. This may take a bit longer as we have to collect the ticket books from the businesses, and some of those businesses are closed due to public health measures. We ask for your patience on this matter. I donated a prize to the raffle ticket draw; what happens now? You will be contacted in the next couple of weeks to discuss options for returned your generous donation or carrying it over to the next year's festival. I have a contract to perform at the festival, what happens now? You will be contacted by our Artistic Director shortly regarding the next steps.
