Next month we're bringing you 'Holiday Favourites with the Calgary Phil' at home! We'll also showcase a new work performed by vocalist Ellen Doty, who co-wrote ...the song with fellow Alberta artist Wyatt C. Louis, as part of a special holiday giveback campaign in support of The Mustard Seed. For the month of December, $5 from every bag of Mittens Coffee sold at Monogram Coffee, and proceeds from sales of a limited edition coffee-flavoured ice cream from Made By Marcus, will support The Mustard Seed's efforts to eliminate homelessness and reduce poverty. The Calgary Phil will also make a donation to the not-for-profit organization and we encourage you to do the same. Register for our 'Holiday Favourites' Virtual Concert here: https://calgaryphil.com//holiday-favourites-with-the-calg/

Yesterday was National Philanthropy Day! As we all know, the financial implications of the pandemic have been less than ideal, and the arts community has been hit particularly hard. This year, we are grateful for individual philanthropy from our community with the establishment of the COVID-19 Response Initiative. The creation of the fund was established with a lead gift from Dave & Roxanne Dunlop that culminated in $551 826.15 being donated by the Board of Directors of Arts... Commons. This support will help us bring our Arts Commons Presents programming to Calgarians this season! #nationalphilanthropyday2020
