Hey everyone, Our very own Minako Boyachek created some masks with the ZDC logo on them and generated enough interest for us to create an order form to give you the opportunity to get your own! Throwback to one year ago!

We don't know what will happen next year... but we are planning anyway! Some have expressed concern that too many groups will want to go to the festival next... year. So.... we have some ideas to accommodate everyone! Potentially: 1. Two Gala Concerts at the Opera Theatre so everyone has adequate opportunity to perform. 2. Extent the length of the concerts in Ploshcha Rynok and at Shevchenkivskyi Hai. 3. Have workshops in multiple locations so that all dancers get more attention. 4. If necessary - start the festival a day earlier! If you have any suggestions - we'd love to hear them!

Official Announcement! As is to be expected, we are "postponing" the festival scheduled for this summer until 2021. However, we are already "re-imagining" it ...now for 2021! Not only will it be the 30th year of Ukraine's Independence... but it will also be the 130 year anniversary of immigration to Canada and Brazil! This will be an extra busy year with all the groups that will be potentially attending in 2021 but we are a creative bunch and there are several ways which we will be "re-imagining" our festival to make it even bigger and better than ever before! So if you're thinking about coming for this amazing event... let us know sooner than later so we keep a space open for you! If you are still interested in coming this summer and we are able to travel, not to worry, we will work with our official tour operator Cobblestone Freeway Tours, to make sure you get a warm welcome, workshops, performance opportunities and an incredible experience!
