A very big and exciting day for Zachary!! After 3 months of intense focus Zachary has finished his first epic novel. He left Johnny behind from "Murders in Maine" and "Conspiracies in California" ....and has an entire new cast of characters. I have had the honour of hearing the whole book while it was unfolding. And today heard the final chapters. A real accomplishment for Zachary!! Zachary finished his sequel to Murders in Maine during his book tour to Maine in March. The goal is to publish that one at the end of 2017. He is now working on his next novel. Unnamed at this point. Zachary made it all the way to Maine today to celebrate his book "Murders In Maine" at this amazing bookstore "Shermans". He had a wonderful day at the bookstore talking about his book and focus on raising money to build another school with Free the Children. Wonderful news today! Zachary confirmed a book signing at Shermans Bookstore in Portland, Maine over March break! He is so excited to go to Maine and celebrate the place where the book takes place. Murders in Maine: Passage from Chapter 1: The Body by Zachary Collins Books I examine her body. She is clearly dead but I can feel her presence like she is still alive. We are speechless. Zachary is preparing for the launch of his new book "Murders in Maine" in December. I am still amazed at the age of 13 his perseverance and commitment to writing and raising money for charity. After 8 months of focused writing Zachary finished his first teen novel this spring. His goal is to raise money to build another school in africa. He have been busy preparing his book for publication. Launch will be in the fall. He got his cover for his book today. I had the honour of standing next to Zachary last night at the Unstoppable Foundation Gala red carpet event in LA. He had the courage to get up in front of 700+ Hollywood actors, sports professionals, successful authors and business people and share his story. He inspired our hearts and minds. It was an amazing event and cause. He is now busy finishing his teen novel and looking for a publisher so he can publish his next book with all proceeds going to build more schools in Africa. Thank you to everyone who has supported Zachary on this amazing journey of hope for the future. #bethechange

Incredible day today for Zachary and his efforts to raise funds to build a school in Africa. A couple of weeks ago he spoke at an Ignite event where he talked about his passion and focus towards reaching his goal to build a school. At that event Doug Dane from Thinking Into Results was so inspired by his talk that he immediately sponsored him $2000! He then asked Zachary to come talk today to 200+ people about setting a meaningful goal and the journey to achieving it. Zachary... spoke with confidence in front of a large crowd, bringing many of us to tears. We are deeply grateful to Doug for his belief and support in Zachary and to all that have supported Zachary on his journey. Zachary is also grateful for his support from Bob Proctor today and looking forward to what the future holds. He has raised his goal from 8k to 10k. He will be working to achieve this through the launch of his next book "The Adventures of Bop and Biff" at Chapters Guelph in September. More to come..... See more

Zachary has been busy planning his 2015 events. He has raised over $6000 to date selling his books and hopes to reach his goal of $8000 in 2015! He is excited to be talking at Mahood Public School on January 14 at their We Day. He is also planning another Chapter Kitchener and Chapters Guelph event (dates TBD). He is doing an interview with Janet Aizenstros which he is super excited about! Looking forward to all that 2015 holds for Zachary and seeing him reach his goal to build a school in Kenya, Africa! Amazing day at the Eden Mills Writers Festival. Zachary was the youngest author and read with confidence and joy! He spoke about his goal to build a school with Africa. At Chapters Inspirational Kids event today and am totally inspired. Here a two kids that were inspired by a cause and both took their natural talents to make a difference. Zachary selling his childrens books to build a school in Kenya and Annaleise Carr swam Lake Ontario and Lake Erie to raise money for Camp Trillium. I am inspired!
