Zajic Corn Maze

Thank you to everyone that came this weekend to end the season for us! Yesterday we had Bill, Andrew and Amber Bennett serve us Beef on a Bun and Cornerstone COOP sponsored the food so that really helped make the day another success. A big THANK YOU to everyone that volunteered, helped, donated and got lost in the maze. We have so many people to thank; that will be another post. Final numbers and dollars to follow.....as well as a map to the hardest maze Ryan has ever made! Will keep you posted.

Last weekend for the Corn Maze so come out and enjoy! Only Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm. Entry is a food bank donation or money donation. Saturday is beef on a bun and Sunday is BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs but BOTH days we will have Thom’s Mini Donuts and Popcorn! Tracey will be there Sunday for face painting too. Well today’s weather was a disappointment for the Maze. But, we still had 25 people go through in all this rain. We sent the volunteers home by 11am but would like to thank the Wainwright Quota Club for coming out in the rain and staying until we decided Mother Nature wasn’t letting up. Next weekend is the LAST weekend!!!! Saturday Sept 26 and Sunday Sept 27 10am-4pm. ... Thom’s Mini Donuts and Popcorn from Encompass Credit Union BOTH days Beef on a bun Saturday, BBQ cheeseburgers and hot dogs Sunday as well as Face Painting by Tracey Christensen. Sorry guys it’s really raining here at the maze so we are closing for the day. If you are already on your way please leave your food donation on the picnic table by the entrance.

We are still open today rain or shine. Wear appropriate footwear and make sure to thank all our volunteers at the maze. It’s supposed to clear up by noon so hope to see some people out today and fill the food trailer!

Thank you to Tony’s Pizza and Royal Restaurant who opened up early (just for us), this past weekend, to make the pizza that the Zajic Family served! Next weekend Sept 19th and 20th we will have the Tipler Family cook us some burgers and hot dogs as well as Mini Donuts and Popcorn.... and I think the weather looks good. Open Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm and this is the second last weekend open. The Food Bank has been super short this year with little to no fundraisers so please help us fill the trailer and help the people in need in our community. As well, the money donated at the gate goes to the Handivan. Thank you to all of our supporters who came and got lost but got through the maze (or didn’t). We appreciate all your support and hope you had fun!!!

Despite the overcast weather this last weekend, we had a great turn out for the Corn Maze and our pictures turned out perfect. Thanks to Kathleen Hogg Photography for the photos! She donated a share of her fee to the Handivan and we are so grateful. Next weekend we are open again Saturday & Sunday - 19th and 20th from 10am-4pm and we will have a BBQ, Mini Donuts and Popcorn both days!! Come out, have some family fun, good eats, and support our local Charities.

This weekend September 12th and 13th we have three food options all weekend!! Encompass Credit Union will be there with their popcorn, Thom’s Mini Donuts, and we will be selling pizza by the slice! Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm Come hungry!

PIZZA by the slice from the Zajic Family! ... Sunday Same food as Saturday as well as face painting by Tracey Christensen. She is just amazing and just does wonderful work. Her face painting all goes to the Handivan so line up and support her. Also just a note that’s last years corn maze picture so don’t print this and try to get through.
