Zed Paradox Art

This was the last week spent in my senior studio. There was a strange unexplainable feeling as I left a place I was not planning to say goodbye to for a number ...of months. On Tuesday I hastily left my second home, ended my senior year in a flash, and dissolved my university experience in a matter of moments. My mother (ever the unqualified psychologist) keeps asking me what stage of grief I’m experiencing. I was angry for a while, but that only lead to more confusion as I have no tangible source to be angry with. How do you hold onto anger directed at an invisible entity? An idea you have no control over? It’s much easier being angry at a person, but I digress. Lately, I’ve been switching between denial and acceptance, whatever it takes to get me through this time of intense confusion with my head still on straight. Perhaps that’s the only thing necessary right now, to accept what’s within my control (myself, my attitude, and my decisions) and what’s outside of my control (literally everything else). And within that, I’m touching the beginning of a new and unexpected sense of peace. See more
