2020 was a different year for all of us. For my family, it was definitely a challenging year. My husband was struck on the highway by a car while directing traffic. Luckily he survived that horrific accident. A few months later we lost his Dad. On a positive though, we gained more time with our kids with lockdown. Got to know our teens a little more and connected. I started a second business called Creative B's (Link in comments if FB allows me to). The business helped... keep our family afloat after my husband was forced to retire due to his injuries earlier than he expected. It's grown so much that I'm growing it again in the new year. 2020 closed my studio down and slowed business when it was able to reopen to almost a halt. No one was booking and it scared us. But in the end wonderful clients who are both new and some who have been with the studio for over 15 years, and some regulars came to see me in the fall and over Christmas - it was SO good to see everyone! Anyway...we ended the year with this sweet little pea. Miss L. She was so tiny but had the cutest little face and cheeks. She definitely didn't want to see 2020 pass her by and stayed awake the majority of her session, but...look....she did sleep for about 20 min. This year has been a quite the year for everyone. I would love to hear what you did love about this year. What happened in your life that was good. What did you like. For me, I started a second business and it is booming. I got to spend more time with my kids that was uninterrupted. Two of my boys graduated (one from grade school and the other from high school) and my daughter graduated college and became a paramedic! This year had lots of downs, but let's share our ups. Here is a pic of my girl. So proud of them!

I usually close the studio on Dec 1st so I can prep for my Christmas vacation in Florida. This year that is not happening so I'm meeting so many sweet families in December!! Look at this adorable little guy is new to Canada and celebrating his first Christmas here with his family! His family is adorable too....and so lovely to work with! Show them some love.

We've been quiet around here....because we have been super busy!! Fall sessions are still happening! Christmas minis are next weekend and we've had a couple of babies and grad sessions!
