The Christmas season is upon us and we would like to give you the the following information on gift certificates. We made the decision to stop selling them as it became very confusing for people when it came time to use them and submitting them to their insurance. If you have massage therapy coverage through your work insurance plan, they will NOT cover a gift certificate you received. In addition CMTO regulations state that the method used to pay for treatment must be sta...ted. This means that if you pay by gift certificate that must be reflected on your receipt and insurance will not reimburse you. Our best option, if you really want to give a gift through our clinic, is to simply give the cash to the recipient and have them book their own massage. Or you can pre book and pay for treatment and give the recipient a card with the date and time inside. They can call and rebook a date that's best for them once they receive your card. Both these methods are eligible for reimbursement through insurance. This also avoids the inevitable lost certificate. Good news! With the restrictions somewhat lifted we are going to be able to practice again! Starting next week we will have limited appointments. We are beginning with a soft opening starting tomorrow and have contacted a few of the clients that really need us due to previous injury, accident or condition. Mikey and I will co-ordinate our schedules so we don't have more than one person in the common space at a time. I know this will be very redundant for some but we are REQUIRED to ask screening questions. Everyone will have to wear a mask for the duration of the treatment. (We will also be masked) and we are putting more time between clients to allow for disinfecting. We hope to hear from many of you soon!

Hello everyone, Although Ontario seems to be slowly re-opening, we are not in the group of businesses allowed to be included yet. Your health and safety is the number on priority for the Ontario College of Massage Therapy, the body which governs our profession. Along with the government, they will tell us when we are allowed to take in clients for treatments. It could be a long wait but we are hopeful that the numbers continue to go down and precautions will be forthcoming... to allow us to see clients who urgently need massage therapy. Thank you again for all of your patience through this whole ordeal. In the meantime, our "room-mate" Northwestern Games will be open for curbside pickups tomorrow and our neighbours at HoJo coffee are also open for take-out. Well, we MAY end up closed until June. However, you can support our neighbors at Hojoe Coffee by stopping in for a fancy coffee, or just a regular coffee ir tea if that floats your boat. Good morning Kenora! Well the basement has drained a little and we have less water down there. Good news is pur furnace was unaffected. The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario has asked us to suspend any non-essential massage. So while we can operate we ask you to consider a few thing before booking. 1. Have you travelled and are self quarantined? Obviously cancel 2. Do you have ANY cold or flu symptoms. Please cancel... 3. Is your massage therapy needed to help you function from day to day? Keep your appointment and call us if your not sure. We are all trying our best during a challenging time and we want to be there for those that really need us. So we are continuing to operate for those thar need us. Our sanitation practices are (needless to say) above and beyond normal so feel safe to come here for necessary treatment. See more

We are sorry to inform you that our clinic will be closed until further notice, not due to the COVID 19 vorus but because of water damage as a result of the fire at Century 21 real estate. Unfortunately all that water is ending up in our basement and has flooded our entire building. We will be contacting people who have appointments and cancelling. I hope everyone is doing well. We just wanted to update everyone on how we are dealing with COVID-19. Since we operate in a fairly small space we have the opportunity to keep it clean easily. So we will continue to be open. The College of Massage Therapy of Ontario has standards of practice already in place to deal with this type of scenario and all therapists are required to meet this standard. Those standards include clean linens for each individual and hand washing b...efore AND after each client. Also wiping all surfaces with disinfectant. In addition to those standards we will also disinfect all surfaces that clients would normally touch such as doorknobs, armrests and counters, several times per day. Should someone have symptoms related to COVID-19 please call our office to cancel at 468-3378. We would appreciate you not using facebook to cancel or inquire about appointments.
