The residents enjoyed a delicious Japanese Zen meal prepared by Enan with great table design by Myorei. A very pleasant evening before Enan returns to his temple.

New zendo meditation sets have arrived from Still Sitting Meditation Supplies. All sturdy and very well made - thanks to Koshin and his team! Some of the old cushions sets will go to the Zen group at UBC and the remainder will be sold for a very reasonable price.

The Zen Centre's gardens are flourishing with the increasing warmth and alternating sun and rain. Inside the kinhin circle is a medicinal herb garden providing Myorei with source material for tinctures and other remedies for use at the centre. Many fruit trees and bushes fill in around the perimeter of the garden. Corey has been planting vegetables in both the front and back, with some coming to ripeness now.
