Not only did I have the pleasure to build this but I also was able to go out on it for setting day! A beautiful day for it , everything worked as it should and it carried its payload of 250 pots and bait, (no second trip for traps this year)with ease! It made for a quick set! Here are some of the jobs we have done this year! We've been kept fairly busy!! Its been a blast working with everyone that I worked for and accommodating their needs. Regardless of the odd profane words (sometimes heard), I really do enjoy the work I do! Maritime Blasting came to our job site last week, at East River Marine. Ron did an hour long demo of his vapour blasting capabilities. For any of your blasting needs I highly recommend Ron! It definitely is a time and work saver!!

Our first build, a Millennium 45- Callie Z With no plywood or stringers, this boat will last a lifetime when properly maintained and looked after. This boat is constructed with high density PVC foam, 32/08 mat where it connects, 24 and 18/08 elsewhere. Vinyl-ester resin used on all structural joints, filled, then glasses throughout. ... 24V start system, 24V electronics, dual battery banks(starting/electronics). Appropriate fusing and switches, panels, sub panels and all marine wiring and connectors. Top drawn FRP integral fuel tanks, interconnected 700gal capacity. Dual ram, class 3 bronze steering assembly, PTO driven pump, 14ci helm, direct drive 30gal hydraulic pump and 1000lb clutch. 2 3/4 316s/s rudderstock, composite rudder bearing and seal(drip less), composite shaft log with drip less packing box, and shaft brush. Solid glass engine beds with IsoFlex marine adjustable mounts that holds a 400hp Doosan mechanical control engine. Twin disk MG5082A, 2.53:1. For up to 70% reduction and engine transferred vibration. IsoFlex heavy duty drive saver rates at 85% of max load. Coupled to a 2 3/4 Aquamet 22 shaft which spins a 34x32 Michigan 4 blade prop. At a speed of- empty no cage-WOT 2100rpm 19.3 knots and loaded with fuel and cage, 14 knots. 3 water right hatches that cover 3 main fish holds. Capable of holding 80 crates dry but can easily be modified into a 30 crate live-well. Electric wash down plus engine discharge option via a 3 way valve, for slightly heated wash down in the colder weather. These are some of the key features that are incorporated into this boat. With 18 years of combined experience of refitting/repairing, fishing, pleasure and sail boats. We combined what we have learned over the years into this build and will with future ones. Our goal is to keep you on the water fishing longer and less time broke down on the repair shop!! Been a long while since my last post.... we've been BUSY!! Its been good being able to work so closely with my brother on this major project. He has been so much a part of this job and able to provide input on what and where he wants things. Seeing the whole process and doing this with him has been great for the most part(we are brothers lol). I would be a liar if I said we didn't have disagreements! Anyways... I think this is all going pretty smoothly . Matt and I are super ...grateful to have this opportunity and to have a new build under our belts :) Hopefully this will be the first of many!!! A big day yesterday at Zinck's Boat Repair!! Moved out of the shop and shrink wrapped a 38' Holman and now We have a Millennium 45 tucked away for the winter in the shop for finishing! Would like to throw out a big thank you to East River Marine for their excellent service and help and also to Schooner Cove Marine, Shawn Fraser for an awesome job delivering and moving these boats around with only 1 day notice!!! A huge thanks to Corey Guimond at Millennium Marine/Guimond Bo...ats Ltd. out of Miramichi/Escuminac NB, who was great to work with and had it put together on time! Biggest appreciation of all is to my "little" Bro, Captain Alex Zinck, for having the confidence in me to bring this all together!!
