A little teaser for my next ‘Easy Piece’ for August - something a bit different launching Saturday August 1st. Take a guess at what the lessons might be, and what palette would you use?

These days I'm burrowed in, listening, learning, planning..... I can't seem to settle into a regular art practice - it's OK, it happens. But looking back at some of the things I had a passion for in February makes me smile. These funny Owl portraits are on the back burner, imagining them large scale on unprimed linen. And they remind me of hugs, friendship and art making at Hacienda Mosaico, Puerto Vallarta earlier this year.
