Have you ever felt Love at first sight? I pretty much fell in love with this beautiful smile at first sight. Took a little more time with this one, I was enjoying it too much! I should have done a screen record - the middle part (the awkward stage) was horrible and I didn't think I was going to be able to "save" her, but we made it! And now that gorgeous smile is beaming at me. Pen sketches means getting away from my computer! It’s so nice for a change of scenery... analog life! So tactile! That scritching on paper! It’s funny - with my painting I’m always striving to go loose. I find these pen studies to be a strange hybrid of tight AND loose. I need to figure out how to translate this to oils! Ok, enough analog... my digital painting class is set to start this week, so need to go heavier on the digitals! With the new semester starting wouldn't you guess that my PC has to misbehave?
