In Svia Homes v. Northbridge General Insurance Corporation, 2019 ONSC 7459, affirmed 2020 ONCA 684, James Norton and James Tausendfreund represented an insurer client in a coverage application, in which the plaintiff sought to enforce an almost $2 million dollar default judgment that the plaintiff had obtained against our client’s insured. The application against our client was dismissed at first instance, a decision which was subsequently upheld by the Ontario Court of Appeal.
