Sylvain Fortin was an amazing employee for Big O Tires in Vernon. He started I think 13 years ago from Auto surround plus, and was great at computers and sales, Sylvain joined in many at home celebrations and his quitar playing and singiing as well as his beautiful wife were always a welcoming visit. Sylvain fit in right away being accepted as one of the family and it stayed like that, Sylvain worked hard yet unfortunately had tough times with his wife Joann Fortin, as she ba...ttled health issue's for years, Sylvain would keep his chin up and be his energetic fun loving self at work as best he could, and take care of his wife when she really needed him. Sylvain also worked on computers on the side and had a real talent for that and so many other things, like singing in a worship team at church, and he was very good, making a few cd's , he also was a great gamer, mostly war games coming from that background himself. Sylvain was also a great swimmer and diver, very acrobatic and could do amazing flips even from a run on the ground, Now days he can be found working for D&M auto wreckers in Lumby. Bryce Zubot was an awesome employee at Big O Tires in Vernon. The youngest of three brothers working, and youngest grandson, Bryce picked up the trade quite quickly and was an important asset in the Zubot family history. Bryce was always polite, good natured, easy going , always laughing and enjoying life, it wasn't long before the customers loved his charming personality and could easily talk to, and he received many tips because of his kind and generous manner, Bryce worke...d at Fountain Tire for almost 2 years after they purchased the business but rejoined working with his Dad, Kerry Zubot at Peters Tirecraft, where he was quickly loved by the staff and customers there. Bryce has an great artistic talent, and we shared some with these pics, Bryce also loves gaming, especially Halo, He also loves his Cat and Dog, like the best pet owner ever, We now know what the , saying " Lucky Dog " is all about Well done Bryce:) See more

Cameron Zubot, also known as Cam the Man, one of Kerry Zubot 3 sons, and a grandson of Marg-Ernie Zubot, worked as a tire tech , and even tackled the sales position for a while, Cam was always calm and reliable, he was also a very fast learner, of tire sizes, mechanical work, tpms problems or any computer issues, Cam was versitile in many areas and was a special part of the Big O Tires Team, Cam got along well with all employees, outside of work, he loves music, plays some base and electrical guitar, bongo drums, and more. Cam also loves sports, Soccer and Hockey, Yoga, a nature lover, and is health food concious.Cam is free spirited, Cam can be found around town usually with his dog Zues, and works now at an organic food warehouse. Say Hi to Cam, if you see him around, he'll enjoy that, he's one of those friendly souls :)

This was the closing staff day when Marg-Ernie Zubot sold to Fountain Tire September 26th 2015, Thanks for all the staff members over the past 32 years. It was a great run.

Kris Zubot is the oldest son of, Kerry Zubot oldest grandson of Marg-Ernie Zubot, Kris started when he was 15 at Big O Tires Vernon and is actually is still the only remaining family or Big O Tires employee working from 13 employee 's , working now at Fountain Tire who purchased the buisnes 2 years ago, Kris worked with his 2 younger brothers Cam and Bryce, he was a hard working reliable efficient dedicated employee, he is passionate about low riding cars and drifting . He owned many Nissan 240's and was a natural selling performance accessories and installing them. He is continuing the tradition of Zubot's working in Tire & Auto service.
